How does ems training work?

During traditional strength training the brain sends impulses which stimulate certain muscles to contract. However, not all muscles have a well-developed connection to the brain and these muscles are not activated as easily and effectively, and therefore they will not develop as well. EMS Training stimulates all the major muscle groups and also helps to develop the motoric nerve connections relating to muscle movement. By sending electric impulses directly to these motoric nerves, even the weakly connected muscles are activated. Because muscle fibers are activated in a non-regular order with EMS Training, a more intense level of training is enabled from the start, which creates more muscle fiber at an accelerated rate. More active muscle tissue requires more energy intake which therefore burns more calories, even at rest!

EMS Training allows gaining muscle mass and shedding fat, increases calorie burning capacity and boosts metabolism.

Using EMS can help improve your posture, as the special training programs contain exercises for the back, the lower back, and abs.

Full-body EMS strength training combined with cardio sessions can help you tone your muscles, burn fat and reduce cellulite. Circulation of the muscular and connective tissues will be enhanced which can lead to firmer and more toned.

Unlike regular training with weights, EMS Training will not put additional strain on your joints and with the help of a specialist, it can be used after an injury or even if you experience joint pain.

EMS can also be used if there are muscular imbalances or underdeveloped muscles in the body. Both sides of the body are trained equal and the weaker side develops quickly to match the stronger, dominant side. Example of sports that cause muscle imbalances are golf, tennis or any other sport that is played mainly with the dominant side.

“Time is money” as the old saying goes, and it is especially relevant in today’s busy world. With EMS you can achieve the entire week’s conventional gym training in just 20 minutes, including strengthening and cardio sessions according to your preference.

Targeted training to reach your fitness goals

Effectively target cellulite

EMS reduces cellulite by deeply stimulating your muscles, increasing muscle mass, tightening connective tissue, improving circulation and skin tone – positively influencing your metabolism and burning fat.

Muscles play an important part in increasing our metabolism and losing weight. Our muscles are like an engine that is constantly burning. Therefore, the larger the muscle mass, the higher your basal metabolic rate (BMR) or resting metabolic rate will be. The more calories you burn the easier it will be for your body weight to be regulated.

Build muscles & strengthen your body

EMS training can provide more intense and deeper contractions as compared to a normal voluntary contraction  – up to 30% more muscles are used and over 150 contraction in the muscles in just 20 minutes!

EMS technology can be effectively combined with traditional training techniques & fitness programs to build muscle strength, power, endurance and speed without stressing tendons or joints.

Improve your health and well being

Regular 20-minute EMS workouts have a number of fantastic benefits for the health and well-being of your entire body, both physically and mentally.

EMS workouts will improve blood circulation, skin tone and helps in aiding with lymphatic drainage. The Detox session contracts deep muscle tissue that stimulate the lymph glands to aid drainage of toxins in the muscles and body.
